The Bathurst 6 Hour, an event purely for production cars, is just days away and will bring with it an exciting three days of action.
Media manager for the 6 Hour, Richard Craill, said people can expect to see a great field for the endurance race, which is set to include 45 cars.
"There's a great mixture of those who have competed before and those who haven't," he said.
"Our defending winners, Sherrin Racing, have competed in every Bathurst 6 Hour, as has someone like Dylan Thomas and his Mitsubishi team.
"Then you've got guys like Anthony Gilbertson, who races Porsche Carrera Cup. He loves the race and has wanted to compete for some time, so he's built a new BMW M3 and hopes to challenge for a class win."

In addition to the main event, there will be several support categories at the Mountain from Friday, ensuring the track stays active.
"This event is all about the circuit being full, all of the time, so things kick off early on Friday and continue right through to about 5.30pm each day," Mr Craill said.
"There are five support categories, each with big fields, and the build-up to the Bathurst 6 Hour itself via practice, qualifying and the race on Easter Sunday."
The Bathurst 6 Hour is a family-friendly spectator event and people can purchase tickets at the gate from Friday.
Mr Craill said there will be some great opportunities for spectators.
"The event runs a unique pit café in suites seven to 13 in the Mount Panorama pit complex - it's open to all who attend the event," he said.
"As well as grabbing some great food and drink, you can use the balcony or the rooftop to view the action.
"There's big screens at the top of the Mountain and, as long as you have a ticket, you can access both the top and bottom of the circuit throughout the event."
For those who can't make it to Mount Panorama, the race will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 506 from 11.15am on Sunday.
Mayor Graeme Hanger said at last year's event that the 6 Hour was "getting bigger all the time".
