So much so that the BDJCA selected two winners for both the girls and boys' awards.
Amy Kreuzberger and Callee Black shared the girls crown while Tom Lynch and Cooper Brien were the best of the boys.
All four of the winners enjoyed massive seasons not only for their respective Bathurst clubs but also their school, Mitchell and Western representative teams.
Kreuzberger showed that she's one to watch in the coming years thanks to a great 2018-19 season of cricket.
The highlight of Kreuzberger's season came with a grand final-winning 61 not out at the Under 15 Western NSW Girls Carnival in Orange.
Kreuzberger represented ACT at the under 15s National Championships and at club level she played a vital role with both bat and ball to help Centennials Bulls win a President's Cup crown.
At the Under 15s National Country Championships Kreuzberger was consistent with the bat, to finish with an average of 28, while also being economical with the ball.
Bathurst Bushrangers under 13s player Black finished the season with a batting average of 38.86 courtesy of two unbeaten half centuries.
Black finished not out on five occasions during the BDJCA season.
At representative level she finished with a half century at the Girls PSSA Cricket State Championship.
Black also starred with the ball through the season, finishing with best figures of 3-1 and an average of 12.10.
Lynch qualified for the Under 15s State Challenge, the Under 15s National Championships and finished with figures of 5-15 in Bathurst's Under 16s Challenge Shield grand final win over Orange.
He was also part of Saint Stanislaus' College's ISA division one premiership-winning side.
The defining feature of Brien's season was his ability to withstand an attack from players with several years of experience on him.
Brien was fearless against older opposition at the Under 18s Western Zone Cricket Carnival where he belted 70 runs in Bathurst's mammoth win over Orange.
At the under 16s Mitchell Cricket Council representative level he finished with an average of 86 with the bat and he struck a match-winning 79 not out for Mitchell in their Under 15 Western NSW Carnival game against Mosman.
The 2018-19 season featured titles for Bathurst's under 12s and 14s plus both under 16s sides.
Their achievements highlight a successful junior program which has been pieced together well by district officials and coaches.
