The Bathurst Bulldogs Old Boys team has been formed in conjunction with the Bathurst Bulldogs Rugby Club.
A meet and greet night was held on Tuesday, April 16 at the Bathurst Bulldogs clubhouse to give more information on over 35s rugby and introduce the players.
Bathurst Bulldogs Old Boys team manager Allen Spencer said the first game will be on Saturday, May 4 and matches are planned throughout the season at Canberra, the Central Coast, Sydney and in the Central West.
"Our main event for 2019 is our Rugby Fest in September, showcasing over 18 rugby teams including Golden Oldies over 35s, masters and ladies at Bathurst," Mr Spencer said.
"The new team understand the culture of rugby and have a passion for creating a positive environment where you and your families can enjoy an afternoon of old boys rugby in a social environment.
"The focus continues to be player safety, fun and growing our game."
Old boys rugby is for those aged 35 to 55 years who still have a love for the game.
