Rebels' experience was key in Saturday's Central West AFL clash at George Park 1 as they tore away from the Giants following the main break to record a 21-13-139 to 9-5-59 win.
The Bushrangers men kicked eight goals to one in a dominant third quarter while Tim Hunter booted as many majors across the whole match.
Rebels' Mick Phillips plus his sons Ben and Lachlan combined for eight goals in a big family effort.
After a gritty win over Dubbo Demons the previous weekend Rebels managed to find much more breathing room against a Giants side still finding their feet following the round one bye.
Rebels co-coach Matt Archer was pleasantly surprised by the winning margin.
"We were probably the beneficiaries of having a tough round one game and them having the bye," he said.
"In the first quarter we were on top but lacked that composure in the forward half. In the second quarter we started well again but gave away a few goals towards the break.
"We talked at half-time about how we were going away from our structure. In that third quarter we really started to make our opportunities count."
Archer reserved praise for the Phillips trio who all contributed strongly.
After Hunter's eight goal haul Mick Phillips (four) had the next best tally with Ben (three) close behind.
"It's slowly turned into the Phillips show, really," Archer said.
"It's the first time they've ever played footy together, all three of them at once, so it was a big moment. They were all fantastic.

"Ben got our player's player and Lachlan was second."
For the Giants there's plenty to improve upon but they will take heart knowing there's plenty of young potential in the 2019 lineup.
With players having their first taste of Central West AFL coach Mark Kennedy isn't close to raising any alarms after a single game.
"We just didn't have the depth. We had new guys rotating through the midfield and we had three players who haven't played before so realistically we never had any high expectations on the game," he said.
"We were able to take some positives out of it. Liam Clarke had a blinder for someone who has never played before and he ended up with our player's player.
"Mitch Taylor had a great game across the backline. It's great to have Jordie Longmore up there as a target and it will be great having him on board for the rest of the year.
"Paul Jenkins led the way in the midfield by keeping our guys motivated and focused on what we wanted to do. We just didn't have the depth on the day and lacked that experience across the ground."
Clarke led the way with three goals for the Giants.
