Many skateboarders dared to go down the Esses of the iconic race track, with many excited (and nervous) fans watching on.
This year's Newton's Nation was by Bathurst skateboarder Mitch Thompson, becoming the first Australian to take out the event, as well as the country's first ever International Downhill Federation World Cup event champion.
Thompson had finished third in 2017 but crashed out in the quarter-finals of last year's event.
