Potatoes, garlic, honey and homemade goods are among some of the treats available at the markets this Saturday in the Macquarie Plaza laneway, off William Street.
"The markets have become a little community for the growers over the years," Wholefood Co-Operative co-ordinator Denise O'Gradye said.
The festivities are a final chance for local producers to get together to sell their goods, after participating in the twice-monthly markets from spring to autumn.
"It's the last one so it's a big hurrah for the season before we start again in spring," she said.
Up to 20 stalls will line the plaza from 9am to noon as part of the event which is organised by Bathurst's Wholefood Co-Operative.
Young talents from the Local Emerging Artist Program (LEAP) will entertain the crowds.
The volunteer staff also see the event as a way to highlight the possibilities for the Macquarie Plaza which, they agree, needs a facelift.
"It does have a lot of potential. It's used for community things like this but we know there's room to improve it so we'd love for some artists to come and paint it," Denise said.
This year, the community shop members are hoping the event will be as big as its second year, their largest turnout yet with 25 stores and loads of shoppers.
"I'm hoping it's going to be just as big and successful. Everyone's welcome down here and there'll be lots of yummy food," Denise said.
