And while it doesn't start until July 6, keen festival-goers will be able to purchase their tickets in-advance, as they will officially go on sale on Thursday, May 23.
This year's theme is 'Cosmic Paradise - a place of great happiness' and festival favourites will return again including the ice rink and giant ferris wheel.
And the popular two-storey carousel is set to make its return in 2019, after previously featuring in 2017.
Bathurst mayor Graeme Hanger said he's looking forward to this year's Winter Festival.
"It's just over a month away and we're really excited about having the Winter Festival here again in Bathurst," he said.
"Last year we sold nearly 50,000 tickets for the ferris wheel and the ice rink and the house of mirrors. We've got the ferris wheel and ice rink again, but we've got the big two-storey carousel coming back.
"We listened to the community. We had a lot of people tell us that they loved the two-storey carousel, so the events team has worked hard to get it back."
Illuminations will be featured on the Bathurst Court House again, as well as on the nearby Court House Lane, the fernery at Machattie Park, the Cathedral and on Keppel Street.
The popular Saturday night markets Ignite the Night (July 6) and Brew and Bite (July 13) will also return, running from midday to 9pm.
These feature events will have gourmet food, and there will be a variety of live entertainment and children's activities.
However, last year's mirror maze will not be making a return.
Bathurst Regional Council has also welcomed Bowman Dental as the sponsor of the Winter Festival's Groove and Grill music event.
Charles Sturt University will be the major sponsor for Brew and Bite, which will also mark the 30th anniversary of the university.
"We can't wait to celebrate all that is winter, Bathurst and Charles Sturt," CSU vice chancellor Professor Andrew Vaan said.
Tickets will be available for purchase from www.bathurstwinterfestival.com.au from Thursday, May 23.
