It was great to see popular golf professional Nathan King show he still has the magic touch with a stellar under par round of 39 points to win Saturday's A grade Stableford from Matt Phillips and Julian Curran who both had 38 points. Dave Clemens chimed in with a handy 33 points to win the scratch.

Jim Brilley was back to his best in firing 40 points to emerge victorious in B grade, Jarrod Portegies and Ash Lamb rounded out the minor placings after both had 36 points while the scratch went to Andrew Stapleton with 22 points.
Andy Kajons headed C grade courtesy of 38 points and a one shot margin over Dave Evans, the stylish Lyle Brewster was third on 36 points and the scratch has gone the way of Shaun Elphick (18).
Duntry visitor Tim White enjoyed his sojourn down the highway to record 38 points and win Thursday's A grade Stableford event by a shot over Ian Rodenhuis and Warren Matthews, two over par garnered the scratch for Mike Stanford.
A three way tie was the B grade scenario as Terry Lewis, Bob Hoffman and Greg Malligan all posted 39 points, Lewis eventually scoring the victory on a count-back. The steady Tony Keech left with the scratch prize after a nice 19 points.
Hoffman was lamenting the weight of Ian Miller as a partner, but thankfully they still got the job done in the 2BBB via a score of 44 points to account for Bruce Cameron and Peter Sheppard on a count-back. Stanford and Greg 'ripped' Adams were the scratch winners with 38 points.
The Tuesday ladies enjoyed the mild Autumn weather as Wendy Smith (33 points) duly saluted in Division 1, albeit on a count-back over Helen Stewart and Janet Coles.
Div 2 was the domain of Lyn Cameron (35) who held off Sandy Anderson on a count-back, Val Stuart was a shot away in third.
A lovely 36 points saw Helen Toohill sit atop of Div 3 from Lou McMichael (33 points) and Judy Brownlown (29 points).
A small Sunday field had Shannon Ryan and Terry Dwyer tied at the top after 18 holes after both players had 36 points, Ryan getting the nod on a count-back.
