The accident occurred just after midday on Thursday near the intersection of Mayfield and Sewells roads, about seven kilometres west of Oberon.

NSW Police Traffic and Highway Patrol Command Inspector Ben Macfarlane said police were still responding to the scene so the full extent of the crash scene was still to be determined.
"Initial reports are there's two cars involved," he said.
Police, fire and ambulance crews have been called to the scene.
