And it wasn't just Carenne in attendance, with schools from across the Central West attending including Wellington High School, Holman Place Public School (Cowra), Cowra High School and Lithgow High School.
Carenne teacher Adam Ryan said it was a great experience for all students involved.
"All of them loved it and it was a good experience for them," he said.
"We had two evenly poised teams and one of them made it to the semi-final, but they lost."
He said it was a great chance for the students who don't normally get a chance to play sport.
"It gave the kids a chance to compete in something that they don't get to do on the weekend," Ryan said.

"This was just one of the several tournaments we hold throughout the year, with others including league tag, netball, indoor cricket and even bocce."
While Carenne fell in the semi-final, it was Lithgow and Wellington who qualified for the final, with Lithgow claiming a comfortable 4-0 victory.
There were four referees on the day, which were all volunteers from St Stanislaus' College.
Carenne did win some individual awards, with Ruby Berry and Lachlan Fitzpatrick named the tournament's best and fairest girl and boy player respectively.
All up, there was over 50 students that competed at the tournament, from five different schools in the Central West.
Carenne has hosted several sporting carnivals in the past, including an indoor cricket one back in March, which Carenne managed to win after years of no luck.
