The restaurant has already experienced many evenings at capacity booking and are looking to promote the venue's warm atmosphere during the cooler months.

Ciao Pizza and neighbouring business Ciao Gelato are both owned by Business Lab Enterprises.

Business Lab Enterprises managing director Andrea Faggiotto said winter is a fantastic season for authentic Italian pizza.

"In Italy, pizza is often served by street vendors and people consume it to keep warm as they walk," Mr Faggiotto said.

"Winter is a great time to visit a restaurant and share in a nice meal."

Mr Faggiotto said the key purpose of Ciao Pizza is to provide an experience that is uncompromisingly Italian, with most of the items on the menu made from scratch.

"Through Ciao Pizza, we want to recapture the spirit of the heritage Italian restaurants of the 1950s," he said.

Ciao Pizza has become a key business in the burgeoning Tremain's Mill precinct, which is in the process of transforming into a brand new sociocultural hub for the Bathurst community.

Mr Faggiotto said the business is proud to be contributing to Bathurst's cultural sector.

"I've developed a close attachment to Bathurst in the four years I've lived here," he said.

"As an Italian restaurant, it's a privilege to be located in a building of such historical and cultural importance."
