Bathurst Bulldogs' Austin Miller, CSU Bathurst's Fraser Robertson, Jonah Ruzgas and Harry Magriplis along with Mudgee Wombats guns Harrison Lee, Lochie Brown, Alex Saint and Ricky Maynard headline the group, which is searching for redemption.
The Blue Bulls colts were soundly beaten by Newcastle-Hunter in last year's Rowlands Cup decider after being hammered by injury the previous day, with Orange Emus Hayden Goodall and Saint two of the best-performed in that campaign.
Central West's colts take on Central North in their tournament-opener at Tamworth's Scully Park from 9.30am on Saturday, before facing Far North Coast at 11am.
They take on Central Coast in their final pool B game at 1.50pm. The finals are on Sunday.
