Well ridden by Jeffries, Madam Ruby ($3.50 to $2.60 favourite) overhauled Niccolon (Aaron Sweeney, $11) to score by three-quarters of a length with Pulla Swifty (Brendan Ward, $4.20) running third.

Narromine trainer Wayne Collison and his daughter Kylie Kennedy - also a trainer at Narromine - each won a race, Collison with Whispadah and Kennedy with Snipps Parade.

Whispadah (Aaron Sweeney, $4.80) led throughout to beat Enlightened Boy (Andrew Banks, $5.50) and Better Strike (Tiffany Jeffries, $15) in the 1200 metres Parkes Services Club Benchmark 50 Handicap.

Ridden by Simon Miller, Snipps Parade ($8) flashed home from last in a big field to win the Telescope Tyres and Batteries Class 1 Handicap.
