And it was the under 16s boys that prevailed on the South Coast town on Merimbula, finishing ahead of Dubbo, Orange, Far South Coast and Eurobodalla to win their age group.
Bathurst District Football president Andrew Speed said it was a fantastic effort from the under 16s boys.
"They've gone so close over the years and Kevin Allen has done a great job over that time," he said.
"It's a really fantastic effort by them.
"We're proud of all our teams. They put in a massive effort."
On the home front, Proctor Park hosted both the under 12s girls and under 14 girls, with Bathurst District Football entering teams in both age groups.
Both competitions used the round robin format, with the top team at the end of play to be awarded the win.
Dubbo's 2-1 win over Bathurst in the under 12s on Saturday proved the difference, with Dubbo finishing just one point ahead of the locals.
In the under 14s competition, Bathurst finished fourth out of five, after claiming two wins - a 1-0 win over Dubbo on Saturday and a 1-0 win over Far South Coast in the final game for the locals on Sunday.
Heading into that final game, Far South Coast needed to win and hope Eurobodalla not win their game.
And it didn't start well for the visitors, with Eglinton junior Callee Black giving the lead for the under 14s.
Black was filling in for the under 14s, who were down on troops, making the move up from the under 12s.
Her shot was fantastically struck, after the Far South Coast defenders failed to clear the ball.
And while the visitors enjoyed the share of the chances throughout the match, the Bathurst shot stopper Laura Mckee pulled off several saves to deny an equaliser for Far South Coast.
Come full-time, it was the sole strike from Black that proved the difference.
Speed, who also coached the under 14s side, side it was an incredible effort from his team, considering they were down on numbers.
"It was an awesome result for a squad of 10, due to injuries. The girls put in a fantastic effort. I'm very proud of them," he said.
"They played to win every game, no matter their position heading in to the last game."
