The project was started 20 years ago by videographer Bruce Ryan, who wanted to document the various events in the city.
A few years ago, Mr Ryan was joined by photographer and community historian John Telfer, who now helps him record historical events.
He was inspired to join the project after borrowing some of Mr Ryan's work from Bathurst Library and wanting to see a similar treatment of the Carillon bells project.
"It was something that I thought should be documented for the community," Mr Telfer said.
It has been a busy few months for the pair, who have now released three more DVDs to the library, which can be borrowed at any time.
The DVDs document the Rebellion on the Turon, the Heritage Trades Trail and Artstate NSW.
Mr Ryan said that the releases have a similar theme to other works from the Bathurst Remembers project.
"As has occurred with many events in the past, we pick topics which will form a part of Bathurst's ongoing history and ensure the finished documentaries contain interviews with those responsible for initiating the occasion," he said.
Mr Telfer said the DVDs can be enjoyed by all community members, as well as be used by students researching local history.
He also congratulated Mr Ryan, who has been working in this field for 40 years, on the documentaries he has produced.
"What Bruce has provided to the library and what he has captured in the 40 years is incredible," he said.
"Some of the things he has recorded you'll never see captured again."
