POLICE are calling for information from the public following the suspected theft of more than 60 lambs from a property in the Chifley region.

Officers attached to the NSW Police Rural Crime Division say the lambs were taken in the past few months.
"Police from Bathurst are investigating the suspected theft of 62 mixed sex merino lambs (full wool) from a property on the O'Connell Road, O'Connell sometime in the past six months," Detective Inspector Cameron Whiteside said.
Police have released photos of the earmarks and tags on the lambs (see above).
Detective Inspector Whiteside has called on anyone with information to contact Chifley rural crime investigator Detective Senior Constable Bob Newman at Bathurst Police Station on 6332 8699 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
