Bulldogs players Nash and Mobbs played starring roles in the Central West Blue Bulls' stellar Caldwell Cup-winning campaign to earn their place in the senior Cockatoos squad.
Meanwhile, CSU second rower Ruzgas carried his great club form into the championships to book his spot in the Cockatoos colts lineup.
Mobbs' selection continues what has been a fluid transition from the backs into the second row.
His first Cockatoos call up is impressive considering he doesn't see the transition as perfected yet.
However, Mobbs can't thank those who have assisted him through the process enough.
"I'm very lucky to be a part of this. I'm a bit shocked but very grateful for the opportunity," he said.
"I've had a lot of help along the way. It's been a challenge to transition from the backs into the second row and I still think there's a long way to go. There's still a lot of finer points of the game to pick up.
"From the outset of the outset of the campaign, at the New Zealand tour, through to the Caldwell Cup it's all been a great experience. Everyone supported each other along the way and that's not always something you get at a representative level."
If Mobbs has been the driving force for the Bulldogs in attack this season then Joe Nash has been the creative spark.
Mobbs said Nash's presence in the Cockatoos squad shouldn't be a surprise given the dedication the Bulldogs fullback has shown to the representative program.
"Nashy is a great asset to our team. He's been a really good pick up and I'm stoked for him to get the call up to the country side," he said.

"I know how long he's been playing for Central West and putting in there so it's great to see that work get recognised."
Nash came across to Bulldogs from Parkes this year and has been instrumental in the club's brilliant season to date.
He returned to the representative fold last season and believes the club switch has done wonders for his game.
"I played a couple of years for Central West in 2012 and 2013 under Matt McRobert before I busted my shoulder and had surgery. It took me a while to pull myself back together," he said.
"I felt like I played well in Tamworth. After moving across to Bulldogs I've been training a lot more than what I had been in previous years.
"I didn't think I'd get a call up but I did feel like I'd played one of my better games this year [in the final against Illawarra]."
Ruzgas also made the jump across from Parkes when enrolling at CSU this year and was "ecstatic" to book a country spot after enjoying time as Central West colts captain in Tamworth, where his side finished fifth.
"It was my first taste of rep footy so I was unsure what to expect but I ended up playing two good days of footy. When I got the phone call on Sunday morning I was over the moon," Ruzgas said.
"Before the first game I was named as captain so I put a bit of responsibility on myself to go out there and lead. We played some very good sides. We dominated a few games but didn't have the go-forward when needed."
