PROHIBITED drugs and weapons were among the items seized by police during a raid on Tuesday as part of their investigations into a spate of break and enters across the Central West.

Officers from the Central West Proactive Investigation Team started an investigation in May into break and enters which targeted 13 locations in the Chifley and Central West Police Districts.
Cash and an EFTPOS machine were among the items stolen during the break-ins.

On Tuesday, police executed a search warrant on a home in Nyrang Street, Orange where they seized a number of items they will alleged were the proceeds of crime.
Police also seized cannabis, cash, prohibited weapons and ammunition.
A 35-year-old woman is assisting police as investigations continue into the matter.
