The Denison College Kelso High Campus students will be performing street theatre on the afternoon of Ignite The Night next Saturday, July 6 and Brew And Bite the following Saturday, July 13.
"It's an opportunity for our new year seven and year eight students to participate in their first performance," Kelso High's creative and performing arts head teacher Selina Ash said.
It might be the last outing for those performers who are in year 12, Ms Ash said, so "we are trying to come up with special costumes for them".

The performers' outfits will reflect this year's festival theme, "A cosmic paradise - a place of great happiness".
"We've had a fantastic group of parents come on board to create all of the costumes from scratch," Ms Ash said.
"We would not have been able to do it without them."
The Bathurst Winter Festival will run from July 6 to 21.
An ice-rink, ferris wheel and two-storey carousel will again be in Russell Street throughout the festival.
The Ignite The Night and Brew And Bite events will feature food, drink, entertainment and illuminations, including on the Bathurst Court House, and will each run from noon to 9pm.
