TRAFFIC along the Sydney Road came to a standstill on Monday afternoon after a truck rolled at the Oberon turnoff, losing a full load of timber.

The driver, a 36-year-old man, was transported via road ambulance to Orange Base Hospital suffering abrasions to his head and face and a headache following the crash, which occurred just after 2.30pm.
Emergency crews, including police, four ambulance units, NSW Fire and Rescue and the hazmat unit, all responded to the call.
A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance said the driver of the truck was virtually out of it when emergency crews arrived at the scene.

He was treated by the side of the road by paramedics before being transported via road ambulance to Orange Base Hospital.
Traffic diversions were in place as NSW Fire and Rescue worked to contain the leaking fuel, and the salvage operation began.
The diversions remained in place late Monday evening with no access to the area for heavy vehicles.
