"The last 12 months have been very productive and the club was able to donate $49,405 back to the community who we have been serving for over 59 years," immediate past president Dominic Chircop said.
"We wish Merryl and his team all the best for the coming year."
The Lions Club of Bathurst will turn 60 on April 8, 2020.
It follows another recent milestone for the club: the unveiling of a plaque to mark the 25th anniversary of the six flagpoles at Evans Bridge by the busy Great Western Highway on Bathurst's eastern outskirts.
The Lions Club of Bathurst, which owns and maintains the six flagpoles, flies particular flags to commemorate important days through the year.
