The bureau is forecasting snow to start falling at 4am on the morning of Saturday, July 13, starting at the Jenolan Caves and Mount Canobolas.
By 7am, snow forecast is to be at its largest, with snow predicted to fall in and around Oberon, Shooters Hill and Black Springs, as well as Orange and Crookwell.
By 10am, the snow is forecast to fall in and around Orange and Blayney, before it eases up in the afternoon.
