A WOMAN is expected to appear in court later this month after police allegedly found methylamphetamine (ice) in the vehicle she was driving.

At about 1am on Sunday morning, officers attached to the Chifley Police District were patrolling the Great Western Highway at Kelso when they stopped the 29-year-old, who was travelling west towards Bathurst.
Police conducted a search of the vehicle, which uncovered a prohibited drug that was thought to be ice.

The woman was arrested by officers and taken to Bathurst Police Station, where she was then charged with supply of a prohibited drug.
She was granted bail and is due to appear at Bathurst Local Court on Monday, July 22.
