That was the message from those involved inaugural Central West AFL senior women's team after it made its representative debut on Saturday.
Five years after a women's competition was added to the league, a group of talents from across the Bathurst Bushrangers, Bathurst Giants, Parkes Panthers, Orange Tigers and Cowra Blues got the chance to represent as Eagles.
They took on Sapphire Coast and while a final quarter fade saw them suffer a 7-2-42 to 5-6-36 defeat, the concept was undoubtedly a success.
"They are all keen, we are already talking about next year and are looking forward to more opportunities," Eagles coach Jayarna Kay said.
"Hopefully we get to come along to the same sort of fixture next year against Sapphire Coast. I think Sapphire Coast were pretty on par really with their development, but at the end of the day they were just that little bit fitter.

"It was challenging that last sort of 10 minutes, but we stuck it out as best we could, gave it everything we could and the girls walked away happy. They really loved just getting out there and playing some really good contested footy.
"Both Luke Le Page [co-coach] and I are very proud of them, the way they presented themselves as a playing group, as a team, their leadership, their sportsmanship, was just of high quality.
"We all had fun, that's the main thing, so yes, I'd love to see it continue."
