A NUMBER of events will be held in the next few weeks to celebrate NAIDOC Week and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.

A NAIDOC Kids' Disco will be held this Friday at Bathurst South Public School from 5.30-7.30pm and is open to any children in the community aged four to 13.
There will be free entry, a DJ and a barbecue dinner, as well as prizes.
A NAIDOC Cocktail Dinner, a first for Bathurst, will be held on Friday, July 26 at the Bathurst City Community Club.
Tickets can be purchased from the Bathurst Local Aboriginal Land Council.
The Bathurst community will mark Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day at an event on Friday, August 9 at Towri MACS.
Organisers say this is a change of location, as the event is usually hosted at the Kelso Community Hub.
