And Bathurst could be hit by its coldest day of the year on Saturday, with the forecast predicted to reach a high of just eight degrees, the coldest day of the year so far being a high of 7.8 on May 30.
Weatherzone meteorologist Tom Hough said Saturday temperature could either equal that or be colder.
"In terms of day time temperature, we're looking at one of the coldest days of the season," he said.
"Saturday is also certainly the most likely chance of snow in the area.
"It's not going to be a huge amount falling but we could see some light snow showers in elevated areas in the early hours of Saturday morning."
The temperature is also forecast to drop to a chilly -3 on Sunday morning.
