Snow was on the ground on Saturday morning at Oberon - though it wasn't a heavy cover.
Bathurst is forecast to get to just nine degrees on Saturday and eight degrees on Sunday.
That would be very close to the city's coldest day of the year so far, which was 7.8 degrees on May 30.
Weatherzone meteorologist Tom Hough told the Advocate earlier this week that Saturday was the day with the best chance for snow in the area.
