Giants were rarely troubled in a 9-10-64 to 1-1-7 victory over an understrength Panthers outfit on George Park 1.

The hosts had the result virtually secured after flying out to a 45-0 advantage at the main break, executing strongly across the entire park.

Elise Gullifer, Danita Lane and Sophie Dixon all scored twice in the blowout win.

Giants coach Liz Kennedy was pleased by the team's application in a mostly one-sided contest.

"Parkes came across with 10 girls so we lent two players so we could even it up a little bit. It was a good hit out," she said.

"They were able to put a few things into place that we'd been working on at training and they worked out well for us.

"Molly Mann was absolutely outstanding. With the footy she's been playing with youth girls and the rep weekend down in Nowra, for a 16-year-old she's looking very fit.

"A new girl to our team, Amber Stockman, had one of her best games and kicked her first goal."

Giants now prepare for vital back-to-back games against the Orange Tigers.

Those matches will be certain to decide the makeup of the table's top three finishers.

"I noticed Orange had quite a few players on the weekend so we're looking forward to having a game with at least 16 on the field," Kennedy said.

"It's a big weekend, being the Katrina Hobby memorial game, so we're looking forward to a good, hard hit-out."

Giants currently sit six points clear of the Tigers, meaning a win across both meetings will guarantee the Bathurst women the minor premiership.

They've allowed their opponents to score just eight goals across as many matches this season.
