Great Aunt features Megan Bird and Chelsea Allen, and the duo is touring Australia's east coast in support of their latest single, FOMO [Fear of Missing Out].
Smith and Jones, featuring Abby Smith and Sophie Jones, became acquainted with Great Aunt during a recent Melbourne tour to support their second album, Something Worth Learning.
"Great Aunt's roots are in Americana and bluegrass music, and their sound features dual vocals, double bass, slide guitar and a mandolin," Ms Smith said.
"They tour a lot through regional locations, and I feel we share a love for performing in a range of quirky venues throughout Australia," Ms Jones added.
The Victoria's Little Alberts venue is growing as a premier Bathurst music hub, and Smith & Jones have played a vital role in bringing attention to the space.
"We don't have a specific audience in mind, everyone is welcome," Ms Smith said.
"We're still trialing how to effectively make use of Little Alberts, so it'll be nice to see how Sunday's gig goes down," Ms Jones added.
The gig commences this Sunday from 3pm. Tickets cost $20 and are available through the event's page.
