THE latest epic edition of the Black Dog Around Australia Ride will be coming to Bathurst early next month.
Around 50 riders will set off from Busselton, south of Perth, Western Australia, on Friday, July 26 and will cover more than 15,000 kilometres over the next 35 days on a trip that will eventually take them through the Central Tablelands.
They will be aiming to raise awareness of - and funds for - mental health and suicide prevention during their journey.
The riders, who will travel anti-clockwise around Australia, will travel to Bathurst from Canberra on Wednesday, August 7, stay in Bathurst that night and leave for Tamworth the next day.
This year's ride will mark the 10th anniversary of the first solo ride around Australia undertaken by Black Dog Ride Australia's founder, Steve Andrews.
