Crema on George has introduced a Bounty hot chocolate, a creation combining coconut milk with the regular recipe.
"It's such a simple recipe providing a beautiful flavour akin to a Bounty chocolate bar," Crema on George owner Tricia White said.
"We've received plenty of positive feedback thus far, and it's quickly becoming a popular menu item."
Ms White came across the idea during a recent visit to the Foodservice Australia trade show in Melbourne.
She said the new beverage is party of the coffee business' drive to maintain a creative and unique menu.
"We're about to introduce bulletproof coffee for people following a ketogenic diet, and we also stock gluten-free, vegan-friendly snacks."
"With so many coffee shops in Bathurst, it's important to stay on the forefront of emerging trends in the hospitality industry."
The nearby Bathurst Winter Festival has helped Crema on George maintain a positive customer base, and Ms White said there's a range of ideas the business is looking to trial heading into the summer months.
"We might look at adding fresh smoothies and frappés to the menu," she said.
