Currently 229 individual nominations have been received, with 345 business nominations received as well.
Businesses and individuals who have been nominated for an award now need to make sure they enter the awards to accept their nomination.
Entries close 31 July, so nominees have just over a week to get their submissions completed with judging and popular voting commencing on August 1.
Entering is easy - with a simplified process that will allow you to enter one or more category with a streamlined payment and entry form in one at the Carillon Business Awards website.
Judging and popular voting ends on August 31, with the finalist night to be held on Tuesday, September 17.
A gala event will be held on October 18, where the winner will be announced for business of the year.
The Carillon Business Awards celebrate business in Bathurst and publicly promote and reward business excellence.
The award categories offer opportunities for each and every of the over 3000 registered businesses in the Bathurst region.

Last year's business of the year was Bathurst Goldfields, while the favourite business was the Carrington Function Center and Threatre and favourite employee went to Anna Smith who works for Vanessa Pringle Floral Designs.
