Bathurst Bulldogs colts have had a remarkable season so far, but on Saturday things could get even better for the under 19s side, with the side having a chance of capping off an undefeated home and away season.

Bulldogs have won 12 games from as many matches heading into the regular season's final round, with only the Dubbo Rhinos this Saturday denying the colts side finishing the home and away season undefeated.
It'll be no easy task, however, with the Rhinos looking to claim second place leading into the finals.
Mitch Lavelle, who co-coaches the colts side alongside Shannon Felsch, said it's been a successful season so far, with his side improving each and every week.
"It's very nice to go through undefeated but it hasn't been our main goal," he said.
"Our main goal is to continue improving every week and going into the semis in a couple of weeks, we'll be looking to improve as we have all year."
He did admit it's been a huge effort from the colts side to remain undefeated so far, but he said the only thing that matters is how far the team goes in the finals.
"Definitely it's a huge effort for the boys to be undefeated so far and it'll be great if they can do it but what'll matter is how far we go in the finals," he said.
Colts tackle a Rhinos outfit that are just one point ahead of city rivals Kangaroos in third, who are in turn three points ahead of Narromine Gorillas in fourth.
Bulldogs and Rhinos last clashed on June 1 at Ashwood Park, with Bulldogs claiming a comfortable 48-5 win.

But with the extra incentive of second place and a second-chance on the line for Rhinos, Lavelle expects the Dubbo side to be raring to go.
"Obviously they'll be extra keen to lock in the second spot and have a crack in the finals and go as far as they can," he said.
"Our boys, it's a matter of being consistent and lifting against a pretty good side."
The Bulldogs line-up doesn't lack experience, with centre Nick Rankine having already had a starting run in first grade in 2019.
Lavelle also praised the work forwards Zach Taylor and Josh Corby have done in 2019 so far, as well fly-half Issac Hogan, who has "lead the boys really well".
If Bulldogs want to claim the win on Saturday, they'll do it without their leaders in captain Tom Felsch and vice-captain Charlie Sharwood, who are out of the match against Rhinos because of injury.
Will Phillips and Theo Faulkner started the season with colts but have since departed overseas.
Kick-off between Bulldogs and Rhinos is at 12.30pm from Montefiores Park in Wellington.
