Rebels held hosts Cowra Blues scoreless in the final term while booting nine goals of their own to complete a 22-26-158 to 3-5-23 hammering at Mulyan Oval on Saturday.
Now the Bathurst men will hold their breath over a final round bye, where a win for their Outlaws club mates over Orange Tigers will be required if the Rebels are to take out the minor premiership.
Rebels started slowly in Saturday's game but once they hit their stride they never gave the Blues a chance.
The visitors got out to a 31-14 lead at quarter-time but by the main break they had blown the margin out to 50 points.
Tim Hunter bagged six goals in the win, Pat Edsall kicked four while Bill Watterson and Matt Archer each scored three majors.

Rebels co-coach Archer said the team found their spark after a quarter-time reassessment.
"Minus the first quarter, we were on top for the whole game but we just weren't kicking the goals. We found our accuracy in the last quarter and every point counted in the end," he said.
"Michael Long in the midfield has really hit his top form and playing some of the best footy I've seen from him in a while. It's also good seeing Pat Edsall taking some contested marks and getting himself on the scoreboard.
"Jimmy Smith probably had the best game of his season so it's great seeing a lot of guys stepping up at the right time of year."

Rebels now hold a 0.93 per cent advantage over the Tigers in the battle for first.
If the Outlaws manage to score 49 per cent of Orange's total next Saturday then the Rebels will earn major semi-final hosting rights.
"It will be good to get down there and scope out our opposition and also to get around our other guys," Archer said.
"Andy James will probably get a run in that game. It will be his first game back from a knee injury so that's another reason to watch as well."
