And shine she has.
Not only did the Panuara product help guide the Waratahs to an undefeated Super W crown and be named NSW's best for her efforts, but Hamilton has gone on to be handed the captaincy of the Wallaroos.
In her appearances as the skipper of the national team, Hamilton has shone as well. The star number 8 was named player of the match in each of the two Tests the Wallaroos won against Japan.
Evrard said her hot form is reward for her hard work, the Central West star inspiring through her actions on the field.
"She has had a really good season, even through Super W it was her first chance to take a leading role at this level," he said.

"Taking on that leadership position has only affected her game in a positive way, it hasn't been about the extra conversations, it is more leading out on the field which is what she does best.
"Regardless of the game situation, she is always wanting to carry and make metres and they aren't the easy metres, they are the hard metres to make, she is better than anyone in terms of break tackles.
"She can physically show leadership through her actions and that is complemented by her understanding of the game, which is really impressive."
