Lambros are a Northern Beaches-based band, with Connor on vocals and guitar and Harry on drums, percussion, didgeridoo and backing vocals.
And Bathurst is not an unfamiliar place for them, with the brothers set to be welcomed back to the Central West city after last year performing at the Inland Sea of Sound.
Connor Lambrou said the gig at Mount Panorama in 2018 was a fantastic experience for the band.
"We got invited to come play last year and heard about the festival but had never been," he explained.
"We had a couple of friends that lived in Bathurst, so we headed down and played.
"It was a really great show and we got a really good reception from the crowds. That why we're really excited to play back in Bathurst again."
While the band name is a play-on-wards with the brothers' last night, it was actually their friends that encouraged the name.
"Actually, believe it or not, our band was originally called Lamb Brew Bros," Lambrou explained.
"That was what it was called but we actually changed it because of our mates putting pressure on us and telling us that, 'You've got this perfect pun. Why don't you use it?'.
"We eventually just shortened it and made it a bit easier for everyone."
Lambros released its debut EP in 2017 to a sell out crowd at the Metro Theatre and the band's single Do Something reached number one on the Australian Music Radio Airplay Project (AMRAP) charts after featuring on numerous radio stations across the nation.
The crowds will also be entertained by Bathurst musician Erin Cobcroft, who recently performed at the Rubens gig at CSU last month.
Friday night's event is suitable for all ages and tickets are available from the BMEC box office or online at www.bmec.com.au.
Tickets for the gig cost $20 for adults, with doors opening at 7.30pm and the show starting at 8pm.
