Thursday was International Cat Day and Bathurst's cat lovers responded to a Western Advocate call-out for photos in their dozens.
And what a mix of moggies we got.
There were long hair, short hair and very little hair, but every one of them was loved.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
There were energetic young kittens and elegant old ladies, along with a selection of cats of every colour.
International Cat Day is held on August 8 each year as a 24-hour long recognition of the special cat - or cats - in our lives.
And don't worry, dog lovers - it's only 18 sleeps until Australia celebrates National Dog Day on Monday, August 26.
