"It's what you do in the community that makes this place a great place to live," he said.
One of the organisations includes the Bathurst Early Childhood Intervention Service, which provides therapy and educational programs that support children with a disability's development.
Service manager Karen Edwards said money will go towards supporting three programs.
"The money will go towards our Art to Learn, Squiggle Wiggle Jump and Kindy Kids Kicking Goals programs," she said.
"They're programs that are suitable for a range of ages and the programs help the children's social skills and motor skill development and because they're collaborative with their peers, they're having fun while learning."
Emma McIntosh, from Veritas House, said the money will go towards helping clients who lack certain identification certificates.
"A lot of our clients who come to our service have no identification, such as a birth certificate, so it's hard for them to move forward and get things like a tax file number or Medicare card," she said.
"This money will be a massive help so that they can move forward in life."
Generocity Church pastor Caleb Dwyer said the grant the church has received will go towards funding its Cafe on Corporation
"We're launching a cafe in partnership with Vivability where we'll provide jobs for people with a disability, with Mitchell Smith to be our first staff member," he said.
"Our church has been in Bathurst for three years now and we just moved into our new location at Corporation Avenue only a few months ago.
"We have a passion about finding niche markets in the community to support."
