This Sunday's Group 10 meeting between Bathurst Panthers and Cowra Magpies will be a tale of two teams chasing different outcomes within the top five.
Thanks to their 74-point demolition job on the Blayney Bears last Sunday the Panthers are right back in the mix to take the minor premiership.
Cowra's finals chances are strong but they're not quite out of the woods yet.
Victory over Panthers will ensure fifth place while a loss means Orange CYMS stay in touch with them.
Panthers player-coach Doug Hewitt said there's a lot of mutual respect between the two clubs.
"It's always a good game against Cowra and we've got along well with them for a while," he said.
"Games with them are really tight, and with them playing for that top five spot and us going for the minor premiership it should be a good one."

Hewitt won't buy into the minor premiership discussion with just two rounds of the regular season remaining.
One of two outcomes will happen: Either Panthers finish first and get a week off or they will host the qualifying semi-final.
Either of those options sound great to the Panthers captain-coach.
"We're still not 100 per cent sure that we want that minor premiership because you take that week off," he laughed.
"At times it can hinder teams but it's definitely something you play for. Our main goal is just to get into finals and have everyone fit and ready and on the field."
Panthers are expected to name an identical lineup to the one which thrashed the Bears last round.
The team are waiting to see whether Blake Seager will start or come from the bench in his return from a hand injury.
