Police, ambulance and fire crews were called following reports of a single vehicle accident at The Rocks, around 14 kilometres west of Bathurst, at 9.30pm on Sunday.
Chifley Police District Chief Inspector Gerard Powell said the vehicle was travelling in an easterly direction when the crash occurred.
"He went around a bend and lost control and went off the edge of the road, through a wire fence and rolled," he said.
"Police rescue assisted with the removal of the driver from the vehicle and he was taken to hospital."
The 27-year-old man from Orange was transported to Orange Hospital with possible injuries to his ribs and legs.
He was discharged later that evening.
Chief Inspector Powell said it was raining lightly when the accident occurred and inquiries into the cause of the accident are continuing.
Meanwhile, a separate accident occurred on Mandurama Road at Mandurama at 12.35am on Monday.
Chief Inspector Powell said a truck lost its road and caused an obstruction for other traffic. No injuries were reported.
