The machine, which was bought by the club using the proceeds from recent fundraising activities around town, is a shiny new Singer.
Uniting Care supervisor Kelly Dwyer said it will be used for a sewing program to teach Uniting Care clients new skills.
"It's hard to raise money, so we're pretty excited [to receive the machine]," Ms Dwyer said.
"We'd like to give a massive thank you."

The Lions Club of Bathurst Macquarie is continuing to collect bottletops with a HDPE (high density polyethylene) rating of 2 or 4, such as milk bottle tops, so they can be crushed and made into plastic ribbon for 3D printers that then make prosthetic limbs.
The bottletops can be dropped at the Return and Earn collection centre at the Bathurst Community Op Shop on Lions Club Drive or at the Lions Van at the monthly Riverside Markets.
