THE Oberon Tigers are looking to round out a disappointing Group 10 premier league campaign by upsetting the finals bound Bathurst Panthers in Oberon on Sunday.

After winning nine games and placing fifth in 2018, being eliminated in the first week of finals, the Tigers were looking for better this season under new coach Josh Starling.
However, the Tigers' hopes of challenging for the 2019 premiership have since been dashed.
Heading into Sunday's final round they are sitting seventh on the ladder with just five wins.
"It has been a pretty disappointing season really for us. It is a shame because we had high hopes at the start of the season," Starling said.
"It also didn't help given the suspensions and injuries that we suffered throughout the season."
However, while the Tigers won't feature in the finals series, Starling said that his team still have fight left in them.
They are intent on going out as winners by upsetting defending premiers Bathurst Panthers on Sunday.
"The boys just enjoy playing football and we are confident we can end the season well," Starling said.
"This game is also a charity game, which we are all looking forward to and excited to play."

Oberon is hoping a big crowd will turn up for the Can Assist charity day, with jerseys as well as other items up for auction after the game.
On the field, Starling said that finding a way through Panthers' defence is key to victory.
"We are confident of a good game, but the Panthers are a good side and they are [near the] top of the ladder for a good reason," Starling said.
"They have got very good defence, probably the best in the competition, so we have to find a way through their goal line defence.
"I don't think it will be a high scoring affair and we just have to stick to our game plan and we should do well hopefully."
The Tigers will be without Andy Adams due to injury which will be a big loss for the side, given the second-rower is a workhorse.
The Tigers and Panthers clash will kick-off at 2pm at Oberon Sports Ground on Sunday.
