If that was to happen it would mean the greens would leave Bulldogs bitterly disappointed considering they face the Bathurst side in all four grand finals, but in Fergus' words, "so be it".
"Bulldogs are on the verge of something very, very special because they've got all five of their senior sides in grand finals including colts, so obviously we congratulate them and give credit where it's due because that's a remarkable effort," Fergus said.
"But we want to win all the trophies we can and if that means beating Bulldogs in all four then so be it, you can only beat what's in front of you after all.
"But no matter the results I'm sure they'll be great games of rugby and we're certainly looking forward to all of them, we've had a lot of success in recent years but in that period we've not had all of our senior sides in grand finals.
"It could be a very special year and we're hoping it does pan out that way."
One interesting tidbit to be noted is despite the fact Emus' first and second graders will both make their sixth consecutive decider appearances, the club has never won both grades on the same day.
The greens' top graders have won in 2015, 2016 and 2018 while the second XV triumphed in 2014 and 2017.

"A few guys have said that in the past, it's an interesting one isn't it, we just can't get both trophies at the same time. Here's hoping this is the year," Fergus said.
He went on thank everyone involved in getting the sides to the grand final, before heaping praise on the Westfund Ferguson Cup outfit, and lamenting the fact it wasn't possible to have a colts outfit contend either.
It could be a very special year and we're hoping it does pan out that way.

Emus started the year with a colts side but Fergus explained it just "wasn't feasible" to continue pushing week-to-week, the club made the call to withdraw midway through the season.
"There's a lot of work that goes into making a club successful, from the playing group to the coaches to the supporters to the volunteers and everyone in between, so a big thank you to everyone involved. Hopefully we can finish the job now," Fergus said.
"It's been really exciting to watch our women's side play and play well this year. The likes of Amanda Ferguson, Murray Reay and Jeremy Reay have done a lot of hard work with them over the last couple of years and while success is great, I actually think the most pleasing thing is the development.
"All in all, our whole club would like to wish every team good luck next weekend, and congratulations to the New Holland Agriculture Cup and Oilsplus Cup premiers too."
