The dog will help manage Poppy's Rett Syndrome.
Rett Syndrome is a rare neurological disorder that only approximately 200 Australian girls have and there is no cure.
Poppy has just started having seizures and the assistance dog will be able to help alert her family when she is having one.
The dog will also be trained to comfort her after a seizure.
