The 74th edition of the Bathurst Eisteddfod got under way on Saturday morning, with talent from across the city and beyond taking to the stage at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre (BMEC).

It all started with speech, drama and dance solos on Saturday, with the speech and drama to wrap up on September 4 and dance solos on September 6.
The dance groups will run from August 30 to September 1 and music will run from September 4 to 13.
All performances will be held at BMEC and tickets to performances can be purchased from the BMEC box office on online at www.bmec.com.au.
The eisteddfod will conclude with the community choir night on September 13.
