While heavy favourites Panthers A would ultimately run out 60-41 winners over Agriwest the focus was more on the latter side's young players continuing to make big strides.
Agriwest have made it clear that their goal this finals series is not victory but development.
Panthers A grade coach Di Coombes said the club are thrilled with the way the season's panned out thus far.
"We had a couple of players out but it was a great hit out. The young players did really well. Their our future coming through and the club's in a great position at the moment," she said.
"There's a couple of sisters in both these teams as well which is really great. We've got dominant sides in each grade, which bodes well for the future.
"It was nice to have a relaxed game against the other girls. They're a nice team who are always learning off the older players."

Panthers A grade made it 11 wins from 12 matches this year after Saturday's club derby.
The team will look to carry that momentum into next round's meeting with the only team who has beaten them this year, Collegians Mystified.
"I thought Ella Muller had a really good game for them and for us I thought Jess and Danita were on fire. Our attack looked really good," Coombes said.
"We made a couple of changes, such as putting Gabby back in defence, and her and Astrid played well down that end."
In the other A grade game on Saturday Collegians defeated Bulldogs Verdelho 40-26.
In A reserve grade games across Saturday Scots All Saints College won a thriller over the Bulldogs Hurricanes 37-34, Mana defeated CSU 48-36 and Panthers Toshacks beat their club mates Panthers Mustangs 33-28.
