With events for five-year-olds right up to open division, the championship catered for a wide range of gymnasts who travelled to Sydney's Rooty Hill Gymnastics Centre all looking to leave with a gold medal around their neck.
Bathurst's Shayla Winwood-Smith achieved just that, taking home gold in the level 3 tumbling event for women.
The 13-year-old impressed the judges scoring a 56.2 for her routine.
Not far behind her was teammate Ebony Pender who scored a 55.7 to give her a bronze medal to take home.
"The girls all did really well, they were up against some of the best in New South Wales," assistant coach Sarah Pender said.

Bathurst's Aspire also secured another spot on the podium courtesy of Chontelle Burgess, who took home the bronze in the level 2 single mini trampoline division.
Although the particular events that were held aren't the main focus for the girls, they were still confident heading into the championships.
"We mainly focus on women's artistic gymnastics here at Aspire so the girls only train for tumbling and mini trampoline once a week but they had been training well leading up to the event," Pender said.
The Aspire girls will now focus on having a bit of fun practicing some next level skills so they can progress to higher levels next year.
