In a statement, the Salvos explained that it would be moving all of its services to its other location within the CBD.
"The sale of 229 and 233 Stewart Street, Bathurst is due to a consolidation of The Salvation Army's Bathurst community presence to its Family Store and Salvos Connect site on Keppel Street," the charity said.
"Any funds raised through the sale of the Stewart Street properties will be used to further our continuing commitment to the Bathurst region.
"We remain a constant friend to the community and our neighbours, seeking out and addressing hardship and injustice.
"Our desire and willingness to connect with our community is strong and over the next year we will be refining and strengthening how to show love to those in need in our community."
The Salvos' properties have been listed with Ray White Emms Mooney, with the sales to be handled by agents Louise Ireland and Kurt Waterford.
The larger of the two properties is 233 Stewart Street, which spans 1361.3 square metres and contains the hall, amenities and a generous parking area.
It would be possible to increase the size of the site by a further 662.2 square metres if a prospective buyer were to also purchase 229 Stewart Street.
The second site offers two three-bedroom homes, which have previously been used by the Salvation Army to support people in need.
While the homes do need some repairs, Ms Ireland said they would still be a good opportunity for an investor who wants to develop the site.

The agents said the sites would be suitable for both commercial or residential development, subject to council approval.
"We've had interest in both so far, probably equal levels on both sides," Ms Ireland said.
Given the size and location of the properties, they present a very rare opportunity to own and transform a high-profile site in Bathurst.
"It's good that you've got highway frontage and a corner block on Piper Street," Mr Waterford added.
The properties will both go to auction on October 25, if not sold prior.
Anyone wishing to view the properties can attend open home inspections, which have been arranged for every Saturday up until the auction.
People can also contact either Ms Ireland or Mr Waterford to arrange a private inspection or voice any inquiries about the properties.
