The business has moved into 64-66 George Street, a short walk from their previous store at 105 George Street.
Bathurst Health Foods co-owner Xanthe Peterson said the new venue has given the business more opportunity for growth.
"We've always envisioned our business model as a mini supermarket, and the new venue has allowed us to expand beyond health supplements into organic grocery items and a cafe," Ms Peterson said.
"There's now room for us to showcase fresh produce, and the cafe provides a relaxed environment for people to enjoy a nice lunch."
Ms Peterson, who co-owns the store with husband Shea, said the new venue provides customers with an easier shopping environment.
"In the old store, it was difficult for customers to get their head around what we're all about because everything was crammed together," she said.
"The additional space has made it easier for us to promote a wider range of health food options."
Ms Peterson said the business places a firm focus on family and community, and is looking to continue building the store as a key hub for health and wellbeing.
"There's been significant advances in the food industry over the past few years, and people are starting to understand how the food they consume impacts their health," she said.
"We're passionate about offering people a space where they can receive beneficial advice for a range of dietary requirements."
