The crowds at the All Saints campus were entertained by Highland dancing, student singers and musicians, as well as a cover of the Red Hot Chilli Pepper's hit Under The Bridge.
However, it was middle school students who brought the crowds running to the stage, as they performed a flash mob, with The Greatest Show (from the 2017 movie The Greatest Showman) playing over the speakers.
A new feature that launched at the All Saints campus on the day was the unveiling of the Old Bathurstians' Museum in the Watson Room at Esrom House.
The committee of the Old Bathurstians had restored many education display pieces throughout All Saints' College's 145 year history.
Old Bathurstians' Tim Sargeant said half of the items in the new museum comes from his own personal collection.
"The school is 145 years old, so we've been accumulating memorabilia for 140 years," he said.
"It's taken about 30 man hours to get everything in order now.
"It's absolutely important to preserve our history so we can show the new students that they're part of a proud and long-running history at one of the oldest colleges west of the Blue Mountains."
One artifact includes the lawyer cane that belonged to one of the previous headmasters, as well as old photos of students and staff and trophies.
